What the free preview shows

This page gives searchers a real public preview of the tracker without turning the full Explorer into a free product. The raw rows above are visible. The deeper search, filters, alerts, and curation layer stay behind Premium.

Recent trades

A real first screen

The page starts like the SERP winners: ticker, politician, report date, trade date, type, and amount before the sales copy starts.

Locked filters

Search intent is obvious

Visitors can immediately understand what the full tracker does, while the actual filter experience still routes through pricing.

Signal layer

Raw data is not the product

Most disclosures are noise. Kapitol.ai adds curation, alerts, and context so users know which trades deserve attention.

Free raw trackers vs Kapitol.ai

A free raw tracker is useful when you want to browse public filings. Kapitol.ai is built for a different job: finding the congressional trades that actually deserve your attention.

How congressional stock tracking works

Members of Congress file Periodic Transaction Reports when they or covered household members make qualifying transactions. Under the STOCK Act, those reports are supposed to arrive within 45 days. The filings list the filer, transaction type, asset, trade date, disclosure date, and amount range.

The hard part is not finding raw filings. The hard part is understanding which ones matter. A routine ETF rebalance, a spouse-managed account, a committee-linked stock purchase, and a late-filed options trade can all look similar in a raw table. Kapitol.ai was built to add the layer the raw table leaves out.

That is why the full tracker is paid. The public preview shows the shape of the feed. Premium unlocks the filtering, alerts, and analysis layer that turns disclosure data into something usable.

Frequently asked questions

Is this Congress stock tracker free?

This page is free. It shows a public preview of recent trade rows and market activity. The full Kapitol.ai tracker, including search, filters, alerts, and curated trade context, is paid and starts at the pricing page.

Why do the filters not work on this page?

The controls are here to show what the full tracker unlocks. The working searchable Explorer is part of Premium, and unlocking it goes through pricing.

Can I just use a free raw tracker instead?

Yes, if you only need a raw filing browser. Kapitol.ai is for people who want signal, alerts, and context around the congressional trades most likely to matter.
